EFL Club Rules

1.0 The League 

1.1       Players will play each other twice (home and away) during the league campaign.

 

1.2       The home player will book and pay for the court at his chosen venue.

 

1.3       The home player must give the away player at least 3 days advance notice (unless otherwise agreed by both players).

 

1.4       League games are played between Monday to Sunday. If any league games can not be played during that week, players must agree a new date and play the game within a 3 week period or the offending player must forfeit the game.

 

1.5      The players must observe the Club Rules and the Official Club Rules of the Game. 

 

1.6       All disputes that can not be resolved between both players must be reported to the EFL Squash Secretary. His decision will be final.

 

2.0 The Game and the Scoring

2.1       Players must be ready to commence play at the announced starting time of the match.

 

2.2       Three points for a win, one for a draw and no points for a loss.

 

2.3       First player to win and reach 5 games wins the match

 

2.4       Games won and lost will also be recorded in the event of a tie at the end of the season.

 

2.5       Both players must send the score to the EFL Secretary by the Sunday of that week

 

2.6       If a player fails to turn up for a match he will forfeit the game and a score of 5-0 will be recorded. Repeat offenders will be expelled from the club.
